Qualifications for ECDE Teacher

  • Minimum of ECDE Certificate/Diploma from Kenya National Examination Council.
  • Registered with TSC.
  • Must have experience and training in CBC.
  • Relevant experience inECDE and particularly in the new curriculum. 
Proficiency in English & Kiswahili; both written and spoken.

High School Teacher

Subject Combinations Computer studies, Chem/Physic, Math/Chem, Math/Physic, Bio/Chem, Bio/Agri.


  • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Education from a recognized institution.
  • Registered with TSC.
  • Must have relevant teaching experience.
  • Proficiency in English & Kiswahili; both written and spoken and technologically savvy.

Primary School Teacher

  • Minimum of P1 Certificate from Kenya National Examination Council.
  • Registered with the TSC.
  • Must have 1year relevant teaching experience.
  • Must have solid training and experience in teaching Competence Based Curriculum (CBC).
  • Proficiency in English & Kiswahili; both written and spoken and technologically savvy.
  • Must be willing to work in any of MOHI’s centers across the country

Head Teacher

  • Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Education from a recognized institution.
  • Must have 5 years’ relevant experience, with at least 3 in a leadership position.
  • A certificate / Diploma in Leadership, Diploma in Education Management, Guidance and Counseling or any other relevant course is an added advantage.
  • Registered with the TSC with relevant teaching experience.
  • Ability to analyze and review policies & procedures, and make recommendations to the management.
  • Ability to plan and implement strategies for successful achievement of agreed goals.
  • Ability to develop, nurture and work in a team.
  • Core leadership, interpersonal, problem solving and management skills.

Camp Mentor

The Camp mentor shall be responsible for leadership and mentoring of campers, providing a safe, enriching, joyful and Christ-centered experience for campers, consistent with Angaza Discovery Camp policies and procedures and the Biblical teachings. The position is directly responsible for the spiritual, social and physical needs of campers for the entire duration of each camp session, and follow-up after the camping sessions.

Spiritual Formation Officer

This position is based in Nairobi, but with frequent travels to Kilifi. The Spiritual Formation Officer will be responsible for working with the school leaders to ensure that the campers are well prepared to attend camp. They will also be responsible to ensure that the mentors are available and well prepared for camp. This position is also responsible for post camp follow up and debriefing for the mentors and the campers.
