Simply log in to the app and navigate to the welcome screen. There you’ll see a button for “send a gift.” Choose the child you’d like to send the gift to, then select the gift package. Complete the purchase using the payment information already on file. Once submitted, the team in Kenya will arrange safe delivery of the gift to your child. As a sponsor, you’ll receive a notification once your gift is received!

Why is there a minimum character count in order to send a message?
We believe words are a powerful tool to spread hope, joy, and love. Rather than sending a one or two-word message, we’ve created the 400 minimum character count is to encourage sponsors to send a meaningful message to their child. Think of this not as a text message, but as an opportunity to provide positive growth, impact, mentorship, and relationship building.
Share words of encouragement that would build the child up mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. You can also communicate things that could help them know you better. General guidelines include describing members of your family, favorite books/hobbies/sports, talk about your relationship with Jesus, a general description of where you live, etc. Ask them about what they like to do in school, what their favorite activities are, etc. Please do NOT share specific addresses or contact information within the app, photos of your family or habitat that include material possessions such as cars, home, toys, etc. Keep the photos to a neutral background if possible.
