There are a few different types of updates that you will receive. You will receive a community update by email once per term, there are three terms per year. Community updates are general updates that are sent out about each community, you are able to read more about the school and community your sponsored child is from.
You will also receive updates about your sponsored child regarding major life updates, changes in schooling, or any other update that may come along. These updates will be shared with you from our Sponsorship Team in the US Office.
Additionally, your child should write to you at least once a year to let you know what is going on in his or her life. You will receive these letters in the mail.
You do have the opportunity to communicate directly with the child you sponsor through your online account. You can send and receive messages that will appear on your online account through our website or mobile app. This is a great way to communicate more frequently with your sponsored child.
