Shalom friends! We thank God for another year he has seen us through. We are excited to share with you some of the highlights of the term. Thank you for your continued support and partnership with us as we transform lives through the Love of Jesus Christ.

Hope Transforms: A Success Story
Tim* tried his level best to keep up, but trailed behind his older sister as she walked to our Nyeri Center. Once she got into the school he realized that he wouldn’t be able to get past the guard because he was in another school uniform.
Tim wanted to be a student at MOHI just like his older sister, but he had already been enrolled in another school nearby. He managed to find a way in through the fence and tried to blend in. But it was not long before a teacher spotted him and the jig was up.
Tim was then taken back to his school with some kicking and screaming. But this did not deter Tim; he would try again the next day and the day after that. Each time kicking and screaming refusing to leave the compound, he would lurk around until lunch was served and he was given a plate.
As this happened a few times over it was clear that Tim was determined to be a part of our Nyeri center. So our Head Teacher recruited him and he joined our kindergarten class. Tim is now a happy boy, he comes to school every day with delight. He is happy to be a part of MOHI and happy to have 2 meals every day. He has made many friends and we are happy to have him.
We thank God for the opportunity to offer a safe place to children who need it.

Term Highlights
- We had a one week medical camp and screening of our pupils by our health team.
- We had our first kindergarten graduation this term. Our little ones have now joined grade one.
- We had a ground-breaking ceremony to start building our new classrooms.

- Pastor Arty of Eastside Christian Church attended our groundbreaking ceremony for our new school building.

- Pray for the needy community we are serving, that God will provide for them.
