Korogocho Grogon

Overview:

Our Korogocho Grogon center opened in February 2013. Due to tensions within the community, opening the center was difficult and took a long time. However, through MOHI's consultations with community members, we've seen a gradual change of attitude, leading to acceptance in the community and explosive growth of the center.

In 2014, we purchased property to construct a permanent building with the capacity for 1,000 students. The anticipated new facility will also provide a meeting hall for Outreach Hope Church and potential space for skills training and other empowerment programs, as well as a high school.
