At our two boarding centers in eastern Kenya (Joska and Ndovoini), MOHI maintains farms and greenhouses that produce a variety of crops, including spinach, kale, green peppers, corn, beans, tomatoes, squash, and sweet potatoes. These crops are used to provide nutritious meals to MOHI students in all of our centers, consequently reducing our overall food budget. We also sell some of our produce in local markets, reinvesting the proceeds in our farming projects. Additionally, we raise animals on our farms, including goats and sheep.
